Can you make money on YouTube? Of course you can. If you have a video that is generating hundreds of thousands of views then you suddenly have a very powerful program that you can get paid for based on advertising revenue you have generated. Many YouTube contributors are making YouTube their full time job as they set out to create content that will get them the viewers they need to generate that Google advertising revenue and allow them to make money on YouTube.
The money being generated is not something that would ever make ABC or CBS jealous but if enough time is put into it, and a contributor generates enough interest, it can certainly be enough revenue to become a full time job. Between eBay and YouTube thousands of people are finding new ways to make a living thanks to the internet.
